Use of robots in the foundry industry is steadily growing. Robots are used for applications like metal skimming, pouring, casting and certain assembly processes. Robots operating in such challenging conditions need to be protected from surrounding high temperature, molten metal splashes and occasional flames. Special fabrics and sometimes a combination of different fabrics are crafted into a protective cover to protect these robots. The cover is designed in such a manner that it can take the movements of the robot and yet remain in position.
